The company was originally founded on the premise that traveling business people who want to stay fit on the road often find it hard to locate a good health club, other then the small, limited workout room that the hotel may or may not provide.

After doing numerous internet searches to locate gyms by zip code, I realized that search engines really are not optimized to provide detailed information on vertical industries with physical locations.  GymLocator.com was born, and has morphed into TheLocators.com ~
